Pavic and Soares leave the number one Cabal and Farah without end

Juan Sebastián Cabal and Robert Farah, the world's number one doubles pair, will also not be eligible for the Roland Garros doubles title this year. The Croatian Mate Pavic and the Brazilian Bruno Soares (seventh favorites) beat them in the semifinals by 7-6 (4) and 7-5 in 1h: 43 and they will be the ones they will face on Saturday around 17:00 in the final the Germans Kevin Kravietz and Andreas Mies (8th), who beat the Dutch Koolhof and the Croatian Nikola Mektic (9th) in the other crossing 6-3 and 7-5 in 1h: 26.

Pavic and Soares won the US Open a few weeks ago and are aiming for a double in Grand Slams against the reigning champions in Paris, Krawietz and Mies, whose story during the pandemic shocked the world, because the former worked as a stocker in a Munich supermarket, and the latter volunteered to deliver fruit in Cologne.
