The former Spanish basketball player Pau Gasol entered the list of eligible people this Wednesday with a view to entering the Hall of Fame in 2023, at a gala that will take place on August 12.
The Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts (United States) announced the ‘class of 2023’ with several well-known names alongside Gasol such as Dirk Nowitzki, Tony Parker, Gregg Popovich, Dwyane Wade and the Olympic champion United States women’s team in 1976.
The definitive list of candidates will not be known until next April 1. Pau Gasol thus aspires to further recognition of his successful career, which ended in October 2021, in which he won two NBA titles, three Leagues and two Cups, and was the leader of the Spanish team with 11 international medals.
