Paris 2024 puts 2.8 million tickets for the Paralympic Games on sale this Monday

The Paris 2024 Organizing Committee will put 2.8 million tickets on sale this Monday for the Paralympic Games, which will be held in the French capital between August 28 and September 8 in the same venues and facilities as the Olympic event. .

Through the official website (https://tickets.paris2024.org/en/) seats will be offered for all sports, sessions and categories, including the opening and closing ceremonies. The sale will open to all countries at the same time and will take place in real time, without draws. Therefore, it will be important to complete the purchase quickly, since the selected tickets will remain in the basket for a limited period of time.

Tickets will have a minimum price of 15 euros for all sports and the closing ceremony, and more than half will cost less than 25 euros. At the inauguration, which will take place around the Place de la Concorde, the cost will range between 150 and 700 euros. ‘First’ category tickets will give access to the preferred area of ​​each venue, including the boxes, while the rest of the seats will be grouped into categories A, B, C and D, depending on their location with respect to the venue area. competition.

Each client may purchase a maximum of ten tickets per session, except for the opening ceremony, which will be limited to four. In total, with each user account you can reach 30 tickets. Payment will be made by credit or debit card and tickets will be downloaded into a specific Paralympic Games application.

At all competition venues, seats for people in wheelchairs will be offered from the cheapest category, with the possibility of purchasing an additional ticket for a companion. In addition, the Family Offer will allow, for every two standard tickets, to purchase a maximum of two more for children under 12 years of age at a single price of 10 euros (except for the opening ceremony).

The Paris 2024 Organizing Committee also offers the ‘Discovery Pass’ for sale, a pass that makes it easy to learn about several sports in the same day at the price of 24 euros. There are two modalities: ‘Central Paris’, which includes fencing, blind football, judo, rugby, taekwondo and archery, and ‘South Paris’, which gives access to boccia, table tennis and goalball.

In a few months, in addition, the official portal for repurchasing tickets will be launched, which will be the only legal way to return purchased tickets if they are not ultimately going to be used. If they are resold by other means, the Organizing Committee may cancel them and prevent access to the venues.
