Last day of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. This Sunday, with the closing ceremony at the Stade de France, the great sporting event comes to an end and Spain still wants to win a medal.
The Spanish Olympic team has 17 medals: five golds, four silvers and eight bronzes. Today the men’s handball team is playing for bronze against Slovenia and Laura Heredia is in the final of the modern pentathlon. In addition, Majida Maayouf, Ester Navarrete and Meritxell Soler are competing in the women’s marathon at Paris 2024.
Spain left Rio de Janeiro 2016 and Tokyo 2020 with 17 medals, and there is one day left to return with even more treasure.
