Pablo Larrazábal triumphs with authority in the ISPS Handa Championship of Infinitum

MADRID, 25 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Spanish golfer Pablo Larrazábal conquered this Sunday the ISPS Handa Championship in Spain, held at Infinitum, in Vila-Seca (Tarragona), thanks to a last day of 62 strokes, in a beautiful duel with his compatriot Adrián Otaegui.

After a difficult week due to inclement weather, both host players fought for the title at home. Larrazábal achieved his second victory of the season and seventh on the DP World Tour, just one shot ahead of Otaegui.

With 12 players in 3 shots, the festival of birdies left the fight for the title open until the end. The Catalan’s 62, minus eight, earned him to climb five positions to the top, with a total of -15, unseating Otaegui who fought him until the last hole (66).

It is Larrazábal’s seventh victory on the Circuit, the first he has achieved on his home turf, with which he climbs to fourth position in the DP World Tour ranking and 68th in the world, for which he has earned the opportunity to enter ‘great ‘ like the US PGA.
