Oviedo knocks down the leader Leganés in the 89th minute

MADRID, 27 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Real Oviedo beat Leganés (1-0) this Saturday on matchday 24 of LaLiga Hypermotion, a setback for the Second Division leader and another step forward for the Asturians in search of the playoffs.

The Madrid team fell at Carlos Tartiere due to a goal from Paulino, who had just entered the field, with the match already coming to an end. A great goal from outside the area in the 89th minute that Luis Carrión's team celebrated with joy and good signs.

Oviedo sought victory more than Leganés, who had Conde, their goalkeeper, as the best player of the match. The Asturians claimed another victim at the top and got into the 'Top 6' with the day yet to end. Meanwhile, the cucumber team continues to lead with 45 points and a little less cushion.

Levante had to settle for the point at 0-0 against Tenerife, so the 'granota' team remains seventh with the same 37 points as Oviedo. The Canaries, who played from the 80th minute with one less due to José León's second yellow card, were a little closer to the goal in their fifth consecutive day without winning.

Meanwhile, Real Zaragoza remains in no man's land after failing (0-0) with Alcorcón that adds to its objective of staying out of relegation. In addition, Cartagena provisionally left the red zone after beating bottom team Amorebieta (1-0), their third win in a row, with a VAR penalty in the 76th minute.
