Getafe and Sevilla have reached an agreement in principle for the transfer of Óscar Rodríguez until June 30. The nine goals and two assists he registered during his last season at Leganés are far from the performance offered at Sánchez-Pizjuán. Lopetegui has not been able to find the key, nor has the player offered a level to settle in the starting team.
Óscar is a midfielder and Sevilla lacks that place in their system, although they have not taken advantage of the opportunities they have had either. He started out playing at the start of the campaign, but by the time the starting theorists recovered from injuries and got back in shape, Óscar Rodríguez took a backseat.
The footballer for whom Sevilla paid close to 15 million has played 44 games to date with the red-and-white shirt; 31 of them in LaLiga, seven in the Champions League and another six in the Copa del Rey, scoring two goals and dishing out two assists.
