Osasuna, highest score in the last international transparency exam
Osasuna has obtained the highest score in the examination on transparency that has been submitted in recent months by Transparency International Spain. The red entity has obtained 100 points and is placed in the first position of the 42 professional football clubs.
In 2015 Osasuna obtained 52.5 points out of a total of 100, a score that a year later, in 2016, dropped slightly to 46.7 points, placing the Rojilla entity in 31st place of the 42 LaLiga Santander clubs and LaLiga Smartbank evaluated. Since then, the club has made an intense and constant effort to improve its levels of transparency and it has also strengthened the communication area so that all this information can reach its partners in an appropriate way. The result is that Osasuna has risen 30 places in the classification prepared by IT until reaching the first position, which it shares with Athletic Club, Alavés, Lugo, Numancia, Cádiz, Barcelona, Levante, Celta, Betis, Real Madrid, Oviedo, Sporting de Gijón, Real Sociedad, Valladolid, Eibar, Huesca and Las Palmas.
IT has evaluated the clubs in five main areas: Information about the football club; Relations with members, fans and the general public; Economic-financial transparency; Transparency in contracting and supplies; and, finally, Indicators of the Transparency Law. In total they have been 48 indicators that have been measured and in all of them Osasuna has obtained the highest score. The agency has conveyed its congratulations to the entity for the effort made in recent years.
