Both Osasuna and Levante had a lot at stake in the game they played this afternoon at El Sadar. The rojillos wanted to redeem themselves after the heavy defeat at the Camp Nou and, furthermore, a victory would give them virtual permanence. They achieved their purpose. The Granota team, although in a good line, came as bottom and wanted to add the three points that would bring them a little closer to salvation. This again is seen with binoculars.
The first few minutes had no owner. Levante played and Osasuna seemed to be afraid of going a little higher and made inaccuracies when it came to circulating the ball. Without creating clear chances for either of the two teams, Arrasate’s team got a little closer to the rival goal. The game took place in the center of the field and it was difficult for Osasuna to break the barrier of five defenses raised by the Granota coach.

Rubén García responded to a clear chance from Levante but his shot hit the crossbar. As the minutes passed, the game became more open, as both teams stretched. Without a clear dominator, it seemed that the match would reach the break with a scoreless draw, but when the first half was about to end, Chimy Ávila arrived, took advantage of a loose ball and scored one to zero with a low shot.
The Navarrese began the second half more active and the de Lisci had a hard time leaving their area. The Granotas managed to shake off the pressure and the game returned to midfield. Morales was able to equalize the score, but just a few minutes later, Budimir, after a pass from Rubén García who stole a ball, put the game on track scoring two-nil.

The rojillos wanted more, and in minute 63, Brasanac, with a cross shot with his left leg, achieved the third for the rojillos. After the third, the Valencians seemed to have lowered their arms and Osasuna shone when the ball came out. But Levante’s lethargy was short-lived and in the 75th minute, Roger scored three to one. Kike García had occasion to increase the result but the three to one was the definitive one. The Navarrese signed, although not mathematically salvation, and Levante things are more complicated.
