On the 28th TabarcaVela will have nine classes including ORC A2 and Swan42

MADRID, 5 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Real Club de Regatas de Alicante has presented the Regatta Announcement for the 28th TabarcaVela Diputación de Alicante, which this year will feature important novelties such as a regatta for the ORC A2 boats between Valencia and Alicante and the incorporation of the Swan42 class to the competition, which will have a total of nine classes.

These new divisions are added to ORC 0-1-2-3-4-5 and to the Dragon and J22 City & Beach Women one-designs, the latter reserved for the women's category. The 28th TabarcaVela Provincial Council of Alicante for ORC and one-designs will be held from July 18 to 21.

A maximum of 6 tests are scheduled for the ORC Class, 8 for Swan 42, 9 for the Dragon class, 6 for J-22 City & Beach Women and 2 for ORC Promo. The tests back to the island of Tabarca, scheduled for Saturday, July 20, count as two.

On the other hand, the TabarcaVela A2 connection regatta between Valencia and Alicante will start on Saturday, July 13, and end on Sunday, July 14, with a route of 100 nautical miles.

The TabarcaVela Diputación de Alicante takes another step and continues to grow and consolidate itself as one of the reference regattas, located in the High Level Regatta Calendar between the Trophy of HM the Queen of Valencia and the Copa del Rey of Palma.

The 28 TabarcaVela Provincial Council of Alicante is organized by the Royal Alicante Regatta Club (RCRA) by delegation of the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation (RFEV), the authorization of the Valencian Community Sailing Federation (FVCV) and the collaboration of the Spanish Association of Nautical Clubs (AECN), and is a scoring event for the ORC Spanish Cup of the Valencian Community and the Lliga de Creuer-Trofeo Generalitat Valenciana-MJM.
