The qualifiers for the round of 16 of the Copa del Rey soccer, which will be played from January 17 to 19, will be drawn on January 7 (1:00 p.m.) in the Luis Aragonés Hall of the Ciudad del Fútbol in the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) in Las Rozas (Madrid), reports the RFEF.

This 2023 kicks off its football calendar in Spain with the round of 32 of the Copa del Rey, a round that will last from this Tuesday until Thursday, January 5.

In a single match and in the stadium of the lower category club, seventeen teams from LaLiga Santander, five from LaLiga SmartBank, eight from the First Federation and two from the Second Federation will fight to qualify for the round of 16.

In the draw, in the case of clashes between clubs of the same category, the home team will be the first whose ball was drawn first.
