Odegaard tests negative in the second test and will be against Betis

False alarm with Martin Odegaard. After the match against Real Sociedad, the midfielder tested positive for coronavirus testing on the entire white squad and, following LaLiga protocol, was isolated. This Tuesday he underwent a second PCR test and was negative, which leaves the first positive on wet paper as it was not confirmed on this new occasion. The Norwegian does not have coronavirus.

Thus, after this negative already confirmed by the white club, Martin Odegaard will be able to return normally to the daily work of the staff and will be available for Zinedine Zidane to play against Betis next Saturday at 9:00 p.m. As confirmed by Real Madrid, the entire Madrid squad and the entire coaching staff have also undergone a PCR test and all have tested negative for coronavirus. This week they will have to take another test before their league commitment against the Verdiblancos. The results will be known before they play this match.

La Real was not affected either

Before knowing the false positive of Martin Odegaard and before contact with a possible case of coronavirus, the Royal Society subjected its entire staff to new tests. All its members tested negative and those of Alguacil continue to work normally after drawing 0-0 at Anoeta against Real Madrid last Sunday. This week, in the same way as Real Madrid, they will pass new tests before playing against Elche on Saturday (6:30 pm) at the Martínez Valero.

Martin Odegaard debuted at what he was home to last season, Anoeta, on his final return to Real Madrid. The midfielder completed 69 minutes in which he could neither score nor assist against his former teammates, although he was active in the early stages of 20/21.
