Numancia's permanence passes through Los Pajaritos

The last defeat suffered by CD Numancia in Lugo still hurts. The effort made against Oviedo and the victory stayed on the road since, once again, the Sorians returned to relegation positions. Analyzing the current situation of the Sorians and the other LaLiga Smartbank teams and subtracting five games by the end of the competition, the rojillos have a ‘better’ calendar ahead of them than the other teams involved in the bottom. Extremadura must come to Soria, this Saturday at five in the afternoon, Ponferradina and Tenerife. Although mathematically the island team has playoff options, frankly it seems difficult to reach it. In the same way it happens with the Bolo set. Outside of Los Pajaritos they will be visited by Rayo Vallecano and Huesca.

Rival teams have a worse schedule. Lugo must pay a visit to Alcorcón, Ponferradina, and Tenerife but they receive Girona and Mirandés in the Anxo Carro. The next rival of the Sorians comes to Soria having defeated Racing de Santander and they have Depor and Las Palmas away from home while in Almendralejo they will receive Cádiz and Sporting. The last team in the ointment, Albacete, with one more point than the Sorians as of today, has at Carlos Belmonte, today Alcorcón, and also Sporting and Real Zaragoza, and went to Malaga, Elche and Cádiz. With all that, Sorians know that tying up the nine points that remain to be played in Los Pajaritos are vital in order not to lose 25 years in a row in the LFP, 75 years of history, and who knows if anything else.
