Barça has signed the Serbian forward from Red Star Nikola Kalinic, 30 years old and 2.03 meters tall, for the next two seasons, until June 30, 2024, as reported by the Barça club on Tuesday in a statement.
Nikola Kalinic, who has won the Cup, the Serbian League and the Adriatic League, is one of the best players in the EuroLeague in his position. He is a tall ‘3’ who can also play as a ‘4’, with command of the low post and in this last season with the Red Star he has played 32 games in Europe.
Kalinic has finished the course with an average of 12.6 points, 4 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 30 minutes on average. He has played 232 games in the Euroleague between Estrella Roja (56 games), Fenerbahce (142) and Valencia Basket (34).
With Fenerbahce Istanbul he won the 2017 Euroleague, being the capital in the Final Four with 14.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and a PIR of 24 per game. In his career he has won 3 Leagues with the Turkish team (2016, 2017, 2018), two Adriatic Leagues with the Red Star (2015, 2022), three Serbian Leagues (2015, 2022), three Turkish Cups (2016, 2019 and 2020 ) and two Serbian Cups (2015 and 2022).
