Thus, Nick Kyrgios, who has just competed in the Brisbane International partnering with Novak Djokovic, will continue preparing his return to competitive tennis. The Australian, recognized for his powerful serve and charisma, will return to compete in the tournament three years after an injury interrupted his participation in 2022 after his first match.
Kyrgios commented that it is “a great opportunity” to compete again on grass, and that he has “very good memories” of the atmosphere at the Mallorca Championships. “This time I am determined to give my best,” he added.
For his part, the tournament’s sports director, Toni Nadal, noted that Kyrgios is “one of the most talented and charismatic players” on the circuit. “We are delighted to welcome him back to the tournament, where his style of play stands out especially on grass,” he concluded.
