Until March 1, 2022, the deadline to submit applications for the II Edition CAI New York Foundation Artistic Scholarship is open, within which a three-month artistic residency will be subsidized to an Aragonese visual artist.
The purpose of the call is the internationalization of the selected artist, offering in turn an opportunity to learn new methodologies, techniques and technologies, and their professionalization. In addition, the beneficiary artist also has the opportunity to expand his network of contacts with other agents and artistic interlocutors abroad.
To achieve these objectives, within this call, a three-month residency will be subsidized, from September to December 2022, to an Aragonese visual artist at the Residency Unlimited in Brooklyn. In this edition the Consulate General of Spain in New York, Residence Unlimited and private financing collaborate.
In order to provide more information on this edition, the CAI Foundation has organized some talks that will take place on January 18 and February 15 in Room i_10 of the Joaquín Roncal Center in Zaragoza to explain the procedure and clarify possible doubts. In addition, there will be the presence of José Moñú, artist awarded a scholarship in the first edition, who will explain his experience.
