Real Mallorca and Getafe have reached an agreement whereby Amath Ndiaye will play on loan at the Balearic club until the end of the season. The 24-year-old Senegalese player joins the Vermilion discipline to reinforce the lead of Luis García Plaza's team and the Mallorcan team reserves a purchase option for the end of the season.
Ndiaye became known in Spanish football in Tenerife, in the second division in the 2016-2017 season, scoring 13 goals between the League and the CupFigures that were about to lead the Canarian team to the First Division. Curiously, that season he scored a goal for Mallorca at the Visit Mallorca Estadi. The following season, at the age of 21, he already played 39 games for Getafe, scoring 3 goals.
Ndiaye is happy for this new opportunity that Mallorca offers her: “I am very excited and eager, I come to do my bit in a difficult season in which we have to try to stay on top.”
Ndiaye remembers his time at Tenerife: “That is what I am going to try to contribute here, and to be able to help the team win every game”.
