Luka Doncic continues to write his own story in the NBA. Five days after starting the LeBron James team in the All-Star Game, the Slovenian base once again led the Mavericks attack in the victory against the Magic in Orlando (106-122).

Doncic achieved 33 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists to stay at the gates of his fourteenth triple-double so far this season. The former Real Madrid player played 34 minutes in which he scored 10 of 21 field shots, including 4 of 8 triples and 9 of 12 from the personnel line.

The former Real Madrid had the help of wing-pvot reserve Maxi Kleber, who achieved his best professional mark in the NBA (26 points), and finished as the second highest scorer of the Dallas team. Porzingis also highlighted, with 24 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and five blocks.

25 Williamson points

Meanwhile, in Portland, another great performance by Zion Williamson allows the Pelicans to fully engage in the fight for eighth place in the Western Conference. The rookie leads the victory – fourth in the last five games – of his team against the Blazers (115-128) with 25 points.

Williamson won his seventh consecutive game with at least 20 points and also ranks as the big favorite to win the Rookie of the Year award. His streak of games with more than 20 points is the longest among NBA rookies this season and is the first player since Michael Jordan in adding 20 or more points in eight of his first 10 meetings as a professional.
