“100 kilometers from the end, I was not sure of the consumption of gasoline and we have decided to loosen the pace a bit, because we were worried that we could not finish the stage. In the end we have arrived well, but not with much gasoline,” Nani Roma confessed, in statements provided by your press team.

“After yesterday's disappointment, today we had a good feeling and we went a little better. We continued adapting to the car. Yesterday I made some changes to the suspensions and it was better,” said the Catalan driver, having finished thirteenth together to his co-driver Dani Oliveras.

“We had a first part with more stones, sandy but cobbled terrain, and the second part has been all camel grass. It reminded me a lot of Mauritania: 250 kilometers of pure soft sand with many potholes; that is, complicated and physical. I found myself very well after yesterday's suit, “said the Borgward pilot.

Likewise, he has been satisfied with the performance of his car. “Today he has responded well. The mechanics will have work now, because he has received a lot of punishment and tomorrow a long day awaits us, on the eve of the first day of rest,” he concluded.
