Munar and Pedro Martínez, Spanish final in Marbella

The Valencian Pedro Martínez and the Balearic Jaume Munar will contest the final of the Marbella Open on Sunday, a competition included in the 'ATP Challenger' circuit which takes place on the slopes of the Puente Romano Club in the city of Malaga.

Martínez and Munar solved this Saturday without excessive problems their semifinal matches against the Valencian Carlos Taberner and the French Alexandre Muller, respectively. Pedro Martínez, seeded number two of the tournament and the only one in contention among the top 100 of the ATP, easily got rid of his countryman, 115 of the ATP, by a clear 6-4, 6-2.

Munar, sixth seed and 108th in the ATP classification, beat Muller in a solid and resounding way, who was the executioner in the quarter-day of Spanish Carlos Gimeno, by a double 6-4. Munar and Martínez will compete for the title of the 'Any Tech365 Marbella Tennis Open 2020' in the final that will be played on Sunday on the clay of the Marbella club's center court.
