Movistar will donate 15 euros to La Palma for each point scored on the next day of the Endesa League

MADRID, 9 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Movistar, together with the Red Cross and the ACB, will carry out this weekend ‘Los Partidos Solidarios Movistar’, an initiative by which it will donate 15 euros for each point scored on the thirteenth day of the Endesa League, to help the victims of the La Palma volcano eruption.

In addition, the female teams of the clubs sponsored by Movistar, Unicaja Baloncesto and Movistar Estudiantes, whose matches will have the same donation per point converted, will join this solidarity action. Likewise, the company will also donate 15 euros for each point added by the player who signs the highest score of the ‘Movistar Solidarity Matches’.

Fans will also be able to shoot in solidarity from home through https://cercadeti.cruzroja.es/partidossolidariosmovistar and through the Red Cross Bizum 33512. In social networks, @movistar_es will enable the donation by RT, contributing one euro for each RT, with a maximum of 5,000 euros.

The collection of this solidarity weekend will go to the more than 25 actions carried out by the Red Cross at this time to meet the various needs of those affected by the eruption of the volcano on the Canary Island.

This new edition of the ‘Movistar Solidarity Parties’ gives continuity to the action that took place in the 2020-21 season and which allowed the collection of nearly 25,000 kilos of food for the Food Bank, helping to alleviate the difficult situation during the pandemic.
