Movistar Estudiantes and Covirán Granada will meet on April 3 in the final of the 2022 Princess of Asturias Cup, which will be held at the WiZink Center in Madrid, after the Andalusian side confirmed their presence in the final on Wednesday.
The Madrid Palace and the student team were already waiting for a rival and the Nasrid team had all the ballots, although their presence in the first main course of the season in the LEB Oro League was assured after the dispute in the last game of the first round. Covirán Granada and Movistar Estudiantes close it at the top of the table.
Granada had it almost assured but mathematically it arrived this Wednesday after completing the first round at the Barris Nord. ICG Força Lleida’s victory against Melilla Sport Capital was not enough as the team from Lleida needed a win by at least 84 points.
