More than 2,000 people enjoy the Jarama-María de Villota charity race

MADRID, 24 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –

This Saturday, the track of the Jarama-RACE Madrid Circuit became the stage for another year of the Jarama-María de Villota charity race, where more than 2,000 people of all ages gathered and whose funds will go to the ‘First Star’ created by
the Madrid pilot herself in favor of children and their families affected by degenerative mitochondrial neuromuscular diseases.

As reported by the organization of the test, from early in the morning, adults were able to enjoy the mythical track
from Madrid with one or two laps (5 or 10 kilometres), and later it was the turn of the more than 200 children’s runners who completed their
distances based on their age.

In addition, all those registered promised to bring a liter of milk to the reception of the numbers, which has meant that more than 2,000 liters were received that will go to Cottolengo del Padre Alegre, in the Madrid town of Algete.

Finally, 14 children affected by rare diseases also enjoyed this day with their families, touring the route of the circuit aboard sports cars belonging to the ‘Club Porsche Spain’.
