MADRID, 21 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Atlético de Madrid striker Álvaro Morata was unable to play the second part of this Sunday’s duel against Osasuna, due to a “cervical sprain”, as announced by the club in a medical report.
After the 3-0 victory at the Metropolitano in the League, the rojiblanco team informed the Madrid native of a first scouting. “The attacker from Madrid, who was substituted against Osasuna as a precaution, suffers a cervical sprain and his evolution is pending,” says Atleti.
The Spanish international suffered a cervical trauma in the 45th minute in a strong impact with David García and was immediately transferred to the Clínica Universidad de Navarra, where he underwent various tests after which he was released.
