The captain of Levante, José Luis Morales, said in statements provided by the club that the team's goal for the campaign that begins in September is to show his face again as in last season and improve the results of the last year.
This was indicated after the goalless draw against Valencia in San Pedro del Pinatar (Murcia) when recalling the objectives of Paco López's team, which finished the last championship in twelfth position with 49 points, seven from the European places and with thirteen advantage over the descent.
Morales believes that they should arrive at the start of the championship as settled as possible and that the concentrations contribute to this and to the adaptation of the youngest and newcomers. “The sensations are good and what we have to do is put minutes in our legs and gradually get into the rhythm of what we want to continue showing,” he said.
“Integrating the new ones, making them feel close and forging the team is what we must now have as our main objective,” concluded the Levantine captain.
