Barça player Nikola Mirotic has tested positive for COVID-19, as reported by the Blaugrana club this Saturday in a statement, so he will miss next Thursday’s Euroleague match against UNICS Kazán, belonging to matchday 22 of the regular phase.
“We inform you that the player Nikola Mirotic tested positive for COVID-19 on the night of Friday, January 14 in an antigen test. The player underwent a PCR test this Saturday, the 15th, which confirmed the first result. The player, in good condition of health, he is isolated at his home,” reported Barça.
Barça, who does not play this Sunday against Valencia Basket after the game was postponed due to several positives, will only lose Mirotic -if he tests negative in a week- for the match against UNICS and would return to the courts in an adjusted way for the ‘ Classic’ of the 23rd.
