Celta de Vigo's sports director, Felipe Miñambres, has renewed his contract with the club this Friday for one more season, until June 30, 2021, the celestial entity reported in a press release.
“RC Celta underpins its exciting sports project with the renewal of its sports director, Felipe Miñambres, for one more season. The club gains in solidity and stability with the continuity of the maximum person in charge of the sports plot, who arrived in Vigo in 2016 and who will face his fifth season in the celestial set ”, Celta highlights in his statement.
The renewal of the sports director comes hours after the club also announced the continuation of coach Óscar García, who on Friday extended his contract until 2022.
“I am happy because I am very happy in the city, in the club, with my teammates,” said Miñambres, who admitted that the 2019-20 academic year is being “complicated” despite the fact that in recent meetings they have managed to “get the head ”and stand seven points ahead of the relegation zone.
