Miguel Bosé jokes about the girlfriend he stole from Julio Iglesias: “I have done many things”

Miguel Bose presented this Friday Bose, a four-episode miniseries that will air on Telecinco this November. The artist, 67 years old, has spoken about it on this same network, revealing some details of his career as a singer. And, beyond giving him great successes in music, these years have also left him many anecdotes.

Among the stories that the musician remembers is the appearance of Giannina Facio in their life. The interpreter fell in love with her in the 80s, when she was dating Julio Iglesias. In fact, Bosé met the actress at the voice of I am a scoundrel, I am a gentleman.

“I didn’t know that you had gotten a girlfriend for Julio Iglesias,” he told him. Joaquín Prat to the musician, to which he, laughing, responded: “I have done many things.” Sitting next to her was Bibiana Fernández, who added: “Giannina Facio, who is now married to Ridley Scott”. This relationship is addressed in the third installment of the documentary.

Bosé and Facio were together for four years. For the artist, she was an “almost cha-cha-chá, almost vulgar” woman, but, above all, “attractive, intelligent and fun.” “They were the most pleasant, most harmonious years of my life… I miss you, baby… I won’t forget you,” the singer said in his book.

Giannina Facio was known for being the daughter of the diplomat and former Foreign Minister of Costa Rica, Gonzalo Facio Segresa. Later, she was recognized, supposedly, for promoting the divorce between Carolina de Monaco and Philippe Junot.

‘Bosé’, reflection of an unprecedented life

The documentary comes to Telecinco after being broadcast on the Paramount platform and promises to tell unpublished details about the author of Death of love. The four episodes are named after a legendary song by the artist: The son of Captain Thunder, Don Diablo, Bandit y Morenamía.

Each title works as a common thread of the events that are told, starting from the beginning of his career and his years of youth to his stage of artistic and personal maturity, which he experiences when presenting the tour of Daddywhen he embarked on fatherhood.
