Leo Messi has finally been third in the voting for the award of The Best, behind the winner, Robert Lewandowski, and the second classified, Cristiano Ronaldo. The 10 of Barcelona has received 35% of the votes, the Portuguese of Juventus 38% and the forward of the Bayern Munich 52%.
The Argentine star has beaten Christian in the scores of the coaches, receiving a total of 196 votes from the coaches for Cristiano's 186 and 554 from Robert Lewandowski. In captains voting Messi has obtained 207 votes, Cristiano Ronaldo 259 and Robert Lewandowski 631.
The three finalists, captains of their respective teams, have voted as follows. Leo Messi has distributed their scores between Neymar (5), Mbappe (3) and Lewandowski; Cristiano Ronaldo voted for Lewandowski (5), Messi (3) and Mbappe; while Robert Lewandowski scored to Thiago (5), Neymar (3) and De Bruyne (1).
