Messi gets a goal of 11 million: the mansion that they have sold him in Ibiza has more traps than an escape room

The Argentinian Leo Messi acquired this home last February, in the municipality of Sant Josep on the island of Ibiza, for which he disbursed 11 million euros. The house, of 586 meters with great detail, has a pool of more than 90 square meters. The sale was closed in Barcelona before a notary. However, the property has numerous irregularities and permit problems. To begin with, and as the Ibiza Newspaper, does not have a license to finish the work or a certificate of occupancy. Top photo, Leo in front of the pool and the small soccer field he has in the garden.

The house, next to Cala Tarida on the Balearic island, stands on a 16,000 square meter estate, classified as undeveloped rustic land. According to the aforementioned media, the previous owner built several rooms in the garage, which is why the Sant Josep City Council did not grant the mandatory final work license or the certificate of occupancy.

When the sale of the property became effective, the footballer’s lawyer was unaware of the irregular situation. The property of the house is in the name of the Edificio Rostower company and its parent company, Limecu, an acronym for the name of the Argentine (Leo Messi Cuccittini). To this day, the footballer’s legal representatives are working on the process to obtain the licences. In order for the house to obtain the certificate of occupancy, the new owner will most likely have to tear down the rooms in the garage that were not included in the initial project. This summer Messi has enjoyed his mansion with his wife, Antonella Rocuzzoand his sons, Thiago, Mateo y Ciro; and his friends Cesc Fabregas y Luis Suarez. In addition, in his Ibizan mansion he celebrated his 35th birthday last June.
