Melania Trump has put out the fire of discord. After her absence and her late reaction last Saturday to the attack suffered by Donald Trump during a rally in Butler (Pennsylvania), the former First Lady attended this Thursday by surprise the last day of the Republican National Conference.
Melania, who attended with the former president’s children and several of his grandchildren, listened live to her husband’s speech (the first since the attack) in which he accepted the Republican nomination for president. Unlike the two previous conventions in which Trump was nominated, the Republican candidate’s wife did not make a speech.
Another of the surprises was Ivanka TrumpThe former president’s daughter – who served as her father’s senior advisor during his presidency from 2017 to 2021 – said she would not be participating in this campaign to preserve her family’s privacy. Therefore, her presence on Thursday reduced doubts about a possible estrangement and symbolized the unity of the family clan.
For the final day of the Republican National Conference, Melania wore a red skirt and jacket suit. Meanwhile, Ivanka opted for a suit very similar to Melania’s, but in white.
Eric Trump’s speech
Eric Trumpwho spoke just before his father, said that Trump “had been attacked by far-left Democrats” and that had become “in the target of a killer who nearly ended America’s greatest hope“.
