PSG has one game left to end the season and the unknowns within the team are still very wide. One of them is the bench. Mauricio Pochettino has all the ballots to leave the club in the summer and the current Ligue 1 champion is already looking for a replacement for him. The Argentine coach recognized this Saturday, after the 0-4 victory against Montpellier, that he will meet with Al-Khelaïfi to discuss his future.
“Without a doubt I will have to see the president (Nasser Al-Khelaïfi) in Qatar. We will surely see each other. But to be clear, the planning of our meetings is always done by our superiors,” stressed Pochettino, who pcould sit for the last time on the PSG bench next Saturday against Metz in the Parc des Princes.
Among the list of candidates to replace him on the bench, the names of Löw, Conte, Thiago Motta and recently Marcelo Gallardo, although the latter is a more complicated dossier due to his attachment to River Plate. PSG traveled to Qatar this Sunday to concentrate until Tuesday on a stage in which the future of the club may be discussed.
