The Argentine soccer player Maximiliano Rolón, 27, died this Saturday in a traffic accident, a player who was trained in the Barça youth academy between 2010 and 2016.
“Dismayed by the death of Maxi Rolón (1995), a base football player for FC Barcelona between 2010 and 2016. We express our deepest condolences and all our support for his family. Rest in peace,” the culé team wrote on their social networks .
According to the Diario Olé de Argentina, the accident, under investigation, was on National Route 33, at the height of Pujato, when he was heading to Rosario, and also cost the life of one of Maxi’s brothers, Leonardo.
Rolón, who was gold in the 2015 South American Under-20 Championship, was trained at Barça and made his debut with the subsidiary. Later, the Argentine player went through Santos from Brazil, Arsenal de Sarandí, Coquimbo from Chile, Al-Diwaniya SC from Iraq and Fuerza Amarilla from Ecuador.
