The Uruguayan Andres Matonte will be in charge of delivering justice at the end of the South American Cup that the Brazilians will dispute Athletic Paranaense and Bragantino next November 20 in Montevideo. This was announced this Wednesday by the South American Football Confederation (Conmebol) through a statement in which it indicates that his compatriot Andrés Cunha will be the main referee of the VAR.

For their part, also Uruguayans Martín Soppi and Carlos Barreiro will be the assistants, while Christian Ferreira and Andrés Nievas will be the fourth and fifth referee, respectively. The Peruvian Víctor Carrillo, the Uruguayan Nicolás Taran and the Venezuelan Juan Soto will also work in the video arbitration booth.

The match between Ahtletico Paranaense and Bragantino will be played on November 20 at 5:00 p.m. local time (20:00 GMT) at the Centenario stadium in Montevideo. This will be the first of the three finals that the capital of the South American country will host in one week. One day after that match, the Gran Parque Central will host the last match of the women’s Copa Libertadores, a contest that still does not know its finalists. On November 27, the Brazilians Palmeiras and Flamengo will meet in the Centenario for the final of the Copa Libertadores.
