After the operation, the CEO of Meta published a photograph on his Instagram profile on the hospital stretcher, where he thanked the health personnel for their kind service and explained the reason for his injury.
“I tore my training ligament and just came out of surgery to replace it. Grateful for the doctors and team taking care of me. I was training for a competitive MMA fight early next year, but now that’s been pushed back a bit. Still “I’m looking forward to doing it after I recover. Thank you all for the love and support,” the businessman said in the post.
Social networks were flooded with messages of support for Zuckerberg. Many of the users reflected his concern towards the magnate and conveyed his most sincere wishes for an early recovery. “Take care” or “Get well soon,” hundreds of followers wrote on Mark’s profile.

Due to his injury, the programmer could be sidelined from competition for a minimum of six months. This loss represents a big break for the American, since he was training for a fight, which many pointed out that he could be against Elon Muskowner of X (the old Twitter).
