Mario, Costa, Asenjo and Trigueros, survivors of the 2016 semifinal

The defenders Mario Gaspar and Jaume Costa, the goalkeeper Sergio Asenjo and the midfielder Manu Trigueros are the only footballers on the Villarreal squad with options to face Arsenal in the semi-finals of the Europa League that survive from the last semifinal played by the Castellón team in Europe.
