The couple formed by María Xiao and Álvaro Robles continues to improve in the world ranking of mixed doubles in table tennis and have risen one position to situate themselves in ninth place after their good end to the 2022 season, the Royal Spanish Tennis Federation reported this Thursday. Table (RFETM).
The duo settled in a historic way for national table tennis in the ‘Top 10’ last summer and their final at the WTT Feeder in Fort Lauderdale (United States) and the semifinals at the WTT Feeder Düsseldorf III (Germany) have given them allowed to move up one square. In addition, both are ranked 19th and 46th in the doubles ranking, partnering with the Romanian Ovidiu Ionescu and Adina Diaconou, respectively.
On the other hand, on an individual level, Robles continues to be the best Spaniard, ranked 53, with Carlos Caballero at 282, while Xiao is the female number one at 71, with Sofía-Xuan Zhang at 166.
