UDG Tenerife announced this Friday the signing of the young 19-year-old defender María Portolés, the second signing for next season that comes from Madrid CFFm, according to a statement from the Andalusian club.
“The young defender stands out for his great versatility, prepared to play on both wings of the defensive line. He comes to the island from Madrid CFF, where he combined performances with the first and second teams,” the club reported.
The president of the Tenerife entity, Sergio Batista, showed his joy at the arrival of Portolés. “We are sure that she will do a great job. She is a player who has known the competition since she was very young, for us the priority is still betting on a project for the future and we are working on it”, he pointed out.
The defender from Madrid made her debut in the Iberdrola League in the 2019-2020 season with CD Tacón. The following campaign she played with Real Madrid “B” and this last year she defended the Madrid CFF shirt. “I am going to leave everything that is in my hands, with a lot of work and effort to try to leave the team as high as possible,” said the footballer.
