María Patiño and Aída Nízar clash live after the ‘reporter’s’ regrettable street performance: “Enough, cut out the image”

The spectacle that Aída Nízar has put on in her first outing as a ‘reporter’ for Ni que fueramos shhh is regrettable. It was in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Cádiz, where her objective was to find out what is happening in the house owned by Manu Tenorio and the supposed squatters who already owe him 10,000 euros. The bad manners of the former Big Brother have upset the neighbours, who have ended up throwing water, bleach and even pushing her. The straw that broke the camel’s back was her confrontation with the couple in the lead role: “Aída, that’s enough. Cut out the image,” said María Patiño from the set.

“Stay there, I’m asking you please. Aída, that’s an order,” the presenter shouted. “No, no, that’s not the point. Can anyone hear me? Aída, no,” she said, already very angry. “Cut the image and have someone contact Aída by phone. Not like that,” she said bluntly.

Minutes later they connected again and the knives flew between them: “You should have more empathy with a person who has been received here at 10 in the morning with swords raised. OK, María Patiño? From the sofa it is very easy to give an opinion,” began the one from Valladolid. “I think you are wrong, Aída,” replied Patiño angrily. “We have technical limitations, I have known what it is to be a reporter for years and you are going to listen to me for a moment, dear. At no time have I tried to belittle your work, I have only tried to keep a situation that could harm you and the program from getting out of hand and I have done it in good faith. That’s it,” she concluded.

Finally, Aída criticized the lack of support from her colleagues and left her position: “That’s enough, damn it…”, she said through tears as she walked away from the camera.
