Brazilian defender Marcelo Vieira will say goodbye this Monday at Real Madrid City (1:00 p.m.) to the club where he has played for the last 16 years, in an institutional act of tribute and farewell that will be attended by the white president, Florentino Pérez.
The 34-year-old winger leaves the entity as the player with the most titles in the history of Real Madrid, after surpassing the legend Paco Gento by conquering LaLiga Santander, with which he raised his record to 24 wins, and increased the tally with the fourteenth Champions League, stopping the counter at 25 trophies.
With these last two titles, which he himself lifted as captain after taking over from Sergio Ramos, he leaves the club with five ‘Champions’, four Club World Cups, three European Super Cups, six Leagues, two King’s Cups and five Super Cups. Spain.
