The Spanish rider Marc Márquez (Repsol Honda) admitted on Tuesday having “enjoyed an opportunity to reset” during the summer holidays, but already with an eye on his MotoGP career during the imminent British Grand Prix, ninth round in the Motorcycle World Championship.
“We have enjoyed an important summer vacation, an opportunity to reset and recover after a demanding start to the year,” Márquez told his team’s official media, on the eve of the start of the Grand Prix at the Silverstone Circuit.
“From a physical and mental point of view, I return to the track refreshed and ready to work. I’m looking forward to seeing the entire Repsol Honda team and understanding the work that has been done during the break”, added the rider from Cervera.
