Marc Márquez progresses from his diplopia and prepares for the 2022 World Cup

MotoGP rider Marc Márquez (Repsol Honda) is progressing favorably from his diplopia (double vision) episode that he suffered as a result of a fall while training for the Algarve Grand Prix in Portugal and follows a conservative treatment in addition to a training plan for be in the 2022 World Cup.

“Marc Márquez has continued to visit regularly with his trusted ophthalmologist to assess the evolution of his vision during these last two months. In these reviews, Dr. Sánchez Dalmau has verified that the progression of his vision is favorable,” announced Repsol Honda Team this Wednesday in a statement.

They assure that the one from Cervera, who last October was diagnosed with an episode of diplopia due to the fall he suffered in training, will continue with a conservative treatment “for the next few weeks.”

“This situation does not prevent Márquez from continuing with his physical training plan to prepare for a new season,” announced the Japanese team, positive in this regard regarding a quick return of the eight-time world champion to the slopes.
