- Both players finished against the Wizards with a 'double-double'
Toronto Raptors has signed its second consecutive victory in the NBA early this morning after successfully imposing itself at home to Washington Wizards (140-111) in a duel in which both Marc Gasol and Serge Ibaka wore and finished with double digits.
In the Scotiabank Arena, the Canadians already dominated by 12 at the end of the first quarter, a distance that was extended throughout the meeting. With this, the Raptors (27-14) settle in the fourth place of the Eastern Conference.
Gasol and Ibaka were two of the seven players on their team to reach at least ten points. The Catalan pivot, who was almost 29 minutes on the track, contributed 20 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 ball recoveries and 1 stopper, while the Hispanic-Congolese power forward scored 15 points, captured 8 rebounds and offered 1 assistance in 25 minutes.
