This Tuesday, the Provincial Court of Malaga has sentenced them both as “criminally responsible as perpetrators of a continued crime of aggravated fraud.” According to the car, the sentence amounts to 21 months in prison and “a fine of five months with a daily fee of 6 euros”. In case of non-payment, “one day of imprisonment for every two unpaid daily quotas,” according to Semana.

Despite the fact that the sentence is less than two years, Carlo has been denied the benefit of escaping from prison. The court that has handed down the sentence is the same one that ordered the jail for Isabel Pantoja, who also had a sentence of less than two years. It so happens that the son of Mar and Carlo Costanzia di Costigliole had several previous convictions for crimes against road safety (driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs).
