Bullfighter Manuel Diaz “El Cordoba” He has announced that he is retiring from the arena in 2023, the year that coincides with his thirtieth anniversary since he took the alternative. The 54-year-old right-hander has made it public through a video posted on his Instagram account, in which he himself explains his decision looking at the camera and affirms: “I’m not sad. I’m happy. It will close a cycle of my life who has given me everything, who has made me happy”.
The Andalusian maestro will leave next year what has been his profession for three decades, as he shares in the video: “Next year 2023 is a special year for me, I celebrate 30 years of Alternative and it will be my last season as an active bullfighter”.
Díaz has reassured his followers by assuring with a smile that he is not sad, but happy, and acknowledges that in the balance of his life: “There are many more positive things. I think it is closing a cycle, closing a stage, closing something in my life that has made me very happy, that has given me everything,” he says.
