Manuel Carrasco shows David Broncano the fines from the city council for his concert at the Bernabéu: “Almost 400,000 euros”

A piggy bank, some cakes, a photo, a sweater… As for the gifts from the guests David Broncano It has already become a tradition that the presenter himself demands as soon as the interview begins. This Wednesday, however, he was amazed when Manuel Carrasco has given him his: a DVD of his concert at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium and three fines from the Madrid city council for the noise it generated. “Make me a bizum,” the artist said, laughing.

And the situation is no joke: the three fines add up to a total of 400,000 euros. “144,000 euros one, 126,000 euros another and 129,000 euros the last one. Let’s see, you also raised money that day. Do you have a prompt payment, 50 percent?” Broncano asked. The artist has revealed that he is going to resort to them: “The move is… First of all, respect for the neighbors who surely have their reasons, I don’t doubt that. But I have done many concerts over 20 years and I have never been fined for excessive noise. I leave it there so that people know that we are not at fault,” he said. “Anyway, since I know that things are going very well for you now… Do you remember Lola Flores’ phrase that said a peseta for every Spaniard? Since you are here now, on Spanish Television, and we Spaniards pay you, I I thought ‘Well, let him pay for it.’

Carrasco is not the only one affected by the problems at the new Bernabéu. The Real Madrid Stadium, which has hosted some of the best concerts of the year, was sued by a neighborhood association for exceeding the noise limit. The city council imposed large fines for the promoters of Taylor Swift and Luis Miguel, among others, while Florentino Fernández decided to cancel all events scheduled until March 2025, such as, for example, the Aitana concert.
