Mandzukic arrives in Milan

Milan already has the striker they were looking for in the winter market one step away: it is Mario Mandzukic. The Croat, who in recent months was also close to Celta, has just arrived in Italy to close the negotiation with the Rossoneri and undergo the medical examination. He would sign a six-month contract with an option to renew until 2022 that would depend on the team's qualification to the next Champions League, with a salary that would be around 2 million euros until the end of the course. Mandzukic, then, returns to Italy after having lived four seasons with the Juventus jersey, with which he won four Scudetti, three Cups and two Super Cups.

The adventure with the Qatari Al-Duhail lasted just six months, and now the Croatian arrives at San Siro to become the ideal replacement for Ibrahimovic, who will not be able to play everything. Milan, whose eleven have the lowest average age of the top leagues in Europe, decided to also bet on experience to continue dreaming of the scudetto, a goal that has become concrete for the first time in the last decade. The Calcio leader, who has already closed the signing of midfielder Soualiho Meite, from Torino, could soon also take over the services of Fikayo Tomori, defense for which he is negotiating with Chelsea.
