Malaga, through an official statement, has offered its subscribers three options for the compensation of their subscriptions for the six games that had to be played in La Rosaleda without an audience due to the Covid-19 pandemic.. It is a situation that can be repeated in some games of the new 2020-21 season. The La Rosaleda club has weighted and prioritized the serious economic situation that the club is going through. It should be remembered that there have been several groups of fans who have promised to give up a refund of money for their subscription to help Malaga at this time.
The three options are, first of all, six tickets for each subscriber when the games are open-door; 20% on the discount of your subscription or waiver of compensation or discount. Below we reproduce in full the statement issued by the entity.
“The Entity, despite its current financial situation, wishes to make a significant effort to reward subscribers who were unable to watch the last six home games last season..
Málaga CF is no stranger to the feeling of its fans, with special mention for the Malaguista subscribers, who have not been able to enjoy the entire 19/20 season watching their team at La Rosaleda due to the COVID-19 crisis.
It is not at all easy to make certain decisions -internal or facing the outside- when the absolute priority is the viability of the Club. In this particular case, it must be taken into account that there is no legal obligation for the return or compensation of the money of the cards that were not used in the final stretch of the campaign with the games behind closed doors.
However, the MCF offers its subscribers three options on this issue:
A. When the meetings are open-door, and as long as they are carried out normally and there are no sanitary restrictions, 6 tickets will be provided – subject to availability – to each subscriberor in the area where they are located. The seats can be used in a match or divided by matches, as the subscriber wishes.
B. 20% discount on the subscription, an exclusive option for those who renew their card.
C. Waiver of the compensation or discount referred to for the benefit of Málaga Club de Fútbol.
