Málaga approved and suspended: Soriano was decisive

Juan Soriano: The goalkeeper returned to starting at a very good level. It was decisive thanks to two very worthwhile saves to Sedlar and Amath Ndiaye in the first half. He could not do anything in the goal of Lago Junior.

Ale Benitez: The full back continues to play with a lot of cheek and does not wrinkle when joining the attack. His was the center that Brian Oliván cut with his hand and was the 1-0 penalty. In defense he had a very demanding match against Lago Junior.

Ismael Casas: Pellicer used him on the three-center line. He suffered especially in aerial balls. In the 1-1 event, Lago Junior sneaked between him and Ale Benítez and took advantage of his greater size to win the duel against both and score the tie.

Lombán: He fulfilled at the defensive level and scored the penalty that put Málaga ahead with great cold blood. He had a very dangerous foul in discount to give the victory to Pellicer's men, but his shot was cleared by the Balearic defense.

Juande: Quite neat match from the central quarry. He avoided Lago Junior's 1-2 appearance with a great appearance as soon as the second half began.

Matos: He appeared in a timely manner through the field of Mallorca, although he lacked depth. He was somewhat soft in the defense of the center of Sastre that made it 1-1.

Jairo: He didn't have his best day. He put will but lacked prominence and spark. Pellicer replaced him at halftime.

Escassi: Tireless work of the Malaga pivot. He improved in the second half after the system change and the return to 4-1-4-1. His presence in the midfield is capital for the Blue and White team.

Cristian Rodríguez: Like Escassi, he went from less to more and appreciated the greater presence of troops in the center of the field after the break. Plus, he did a good job in darker workings.

Joaquín Muñoz: Maintains a somewhat irregular line. He did not have continuity in the game during the match and although he tried, he did not generate dangerous actions from the left wing.

Caye Quintana: His best action in the match was an assist with which he left Luis Muñoz alone against Reina. The striker is still far from his best level, although his delivery is absolute.

Christ: He replaced Matos at half-time and saw a yellow within minutes of leaving. In defense he did not suffer excessively, but little was seen in attack.

Luis Muñoz: Another of the three players who entered the grass after the intermission. He was seen at a good level and even had a very clear chance to make it 2-1 in the 55 'minute. His first shot was cleared by Manolo Reina.

Yanis Rahmani: The winger entered the field after the break and did not play a very relevant role. No effort was spared, but participation and imbalance were lacking.

Scepovic: He replaced Caye Quintana well into the second half, but he was hardly seen. His presence had little significance in the game.

Mini: The youth squad made his debut with the first team in the League (he had already played a few minutes in the Cup), although he barely had time to be noticed. Pellicer continues to give minutes and prominence to the young talents of the house.
