Málaga approved and suspended: Jozabed saved a point

Dani Barrio: He couldn't do anything at 1-0 and avoided Cartagena's second goal with a great save from Cayarga's shot. In the second half the penalty was played pushing Cristian into the area.

Alexander González: Dark night for the Venezuelan. Incomprehensibly, he let the ball pass which ended up becoming 1-0. Cayarga, who only had to push the ball, took advantage of the gift.

Mejías: Correct match of the vinotinto defender. Thanks to his speed, he corrected the few mistakes he made during the match.

Juande: Acceptable performance in general lines of the academy center, although he had some difficulty when they faced him with spaces.

Matos: The winger had a lot of work in his band with De Blasis and Antoñito. In attack he starred in two of Málaga's clearest occasions. A cross from his shot in the 49th minute ended in the post and Chichizola repelled a shot inside the area after a good cross from Ale Benítez. He saw the yellow and will be low against Almería.

Quintana: Pellicer chose him as a substitute for Escassi and the young pivot of the quarry complied. The change of system at halftime hurt him and he was one of those substituted at intermission.

Jairo: He was the most outstanding malaguista in the first part. He generated several dangerous actions and had the tie in the 36th minute, but Chichizola cleared his shot for a corner. In the second half it was diluted.

Luis Muñoz: Generous in the effort, he had less arrival to the rival area and less prominence than in previous games. He had a nice midfield duel with Clavería and ended up being reprimanded.

Jozabed: The midfielder did not have his best performance, but he scored the tying goal in the 81st minute and saved an important point for Málaga. He left injured in '88.

Yanis Rahmani: He was less participatory than other times and supplied with work and dedication the little imbalance that he generated in his band. Nor can he be against Almería.

Caye Quintana: He starred in several harmless auctions. He needs to chain several goals to regain confidence and become the important player of the first league games again.

Ale Benitez: He also suffered against Cayarga, but did not make any mistakes and improved Alexander González. A center of his was close to becoming the tie, but Chichizola deflected Matos's shot.

Scepovic: The striker entered the break and left some details in attack and was important in defending the set pieces.

July: He gave the pass to Jozabed which culminated in the final draw.

Ramon: Pellicer turned to him in search of an equalizer and with him on the field, Málaga gained possession and presence in the rival field.

Cristian Rodríguez: He barely had time to be seen.
